Graphic files submitted for vinyl cutting should be vector
not bitmap images.

Bitmap Images
Bitmap images are composed of color pixels, each of which
holds specific color information. A full color image is best
represented using millions of pixels. When a bitmap image
is resized, the pixels don't change sizes. The bigger the
image, the more pixels are needed to fill it, the smaller the
image the fewer pixels are needed. Reducing a bitmap image
will remove pixels from the image, the quality remains
pretty much the same. However, enlarging a bitmap image
means filling a bigger area, with pixel information from a
smaller image. The computer will interpolate additional pixels
from the pixel information available, resulting in a loss of
sharpness. Some bitmap files are: .psd; .jpg; .tif

Vector Images
Vector images are complex shapes made of points, lines,
and curves and filled with colors. Programs that create vector
images save instructions on how the image is recreated.
Because of this it can be redrawn at any size, without losing
any quality. Some vector files are: .ai ,.cdr ,.eps
We can convert a bitmap image to vector, but it can be
